Many of our readers are teenagers, and some of the people in our stories are too. Their safety comes before the story.
When a piece features someone under 18:
- Get written consent from a parent or guardian.
- Don't publish their full name, school or location unless the editor agrees.
- Never show them in a way that could embarrass or endanger them.
